@bittner_jameson@GTASixInfo They are also using similar corporate speak for online. The way they keep emphasis this as single player experience tells me that what they are really saying is that online, whenever it comes, will be a paid add on this time. Maybe even a monthly subscription.
@Polyjeweler@JessicaLynnnn62 Not to mention in simplest terms you can't actually buy (to own) this game. You can only purchase a license to play the game since "physical" is just a single use download code.
@JessicaLynnnn62@Polyjeweler Yeah I'm pretty convinced they wanted to launch at $100 but saw the backlash and so they cut features to create a lower priced "base game" version at $80 (vs them adding features to make a $100 version).
Gonna bet online, whenever it launches, will be a paid add on as well.
@Lucas7yoshi_RS Very much feels like the $100 version was intended as base game but they saw enough market research that would be pushing price just a bit too high so they stripped stuff out to call it the base game they could sell at $80.
@videogamedeals $80 for a code in a box... no thanks. Sounds like they aren't just happy trying to raise price of games they wanna ensure there is no pre-owned market too.
@MindofMilaa@progressive If you haven't changed insurance recently shop around. Recently I decided to see what Geico (current insurance) would quote me if I went through form new and it was about half what they are charging me as a multi-year customer with same info. ๐ก Def changing soon as I got time.
@SportsFYeah@PompeyWeilian@Hoodganster82 Not sure how many states actually require food but several do have laws that mean there are fewer licenses for places that only sell alcohol so its easier to get a license if you have food too.
@PompeyWeilian@Hoodganster82 Go to a small town in Wisconsin and there will be like 5 bars, 2 will have a full kitchen (at least a fryer), 2 will have a toaster oven for frozen pizzas and the last one has no food at all but probably sells beer so cheap its borderline criminal and host a monthly meat raffel
@WHENESOTA I mean if I saw a facebook marketplace or buy nothing post for a free Atari 2600 that looked good but wasn't functional I would def snag it as a display item for my video game library ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Free geek might take it tho, gamestop now also takes retro consoles even if not working.
Still trying to understand why building out public transit requires like 10 years of debate and arguments no matter how much it is supported (and still likely to fail) but data centers that communities frequently don't support go forward in months with massive tax breaks.
@BigGuyHimself@nutanc Not much of a math wizard but if everyone in a 40k company is getting 1,300 credits at $130 a month, wouldn't that be $5,200,000 a month spent on AI tokens? Which the post suggests isn't actually enough as one week into the month they've used nearly 40% of their credits already..
