Main construction is now underway on the Bruce Highway in Tully between Dean Road and Tully High School, delivering important safety upgrades as part of the Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program.

The Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program is delivering proven safety treatments on priority sections of the Bruce Highway north of Gympie, with works planned through to 2030 to improve safety, reduce crash risk and support more reliable journeys.
The Bruce Highway Upgrade Program is a 15-year program focused on improving safety, flood resilience, and capacity along the highway through targeted upgrades such as intersection improvements, raised bridges, flood immunity works and projects that improve traffic flow.
