Congress is negotiating the FY27 Continuing Resolution (CR), and the research community has an opportunity to weigh in.
The Senate-passed H.R. 6500 includes language preventing OMB from implementing proposed changes to federal financial assistance. The NSF has proposed similar changes in its draft Guidance on Financial Assistance.
Urge your Representative and Senators to maintain current federal research policies by preserving the Senate language on OMB and adding similar language for NSF.
