When discussing his horsemanship only...I have never in my life seen a rider who can steer horses the way he does and seen so many horses so willing to make the moves he asks them to produce. We all hear that negative phrase, "Horses just don't run for that guy..." Well....horses RUN for Paco.

Great jockeys are difference makers, and he's certainly a difference maker. He wins on very live horses but also second-tier/price horses too.

The criticisms of him in the past have been warranted as have the consequences that have come along with the issues. That said, in my opinion when he's at his best he's an unbelievable horseman.
