THE 2024 GREEN BAY PACKERS:
The volatility of fandom is interesting… The Packers were the youngest team in the NFL and 3-6 in 2023 at this point in the season, then somehow they made it within a couple plays of getting to the NFC Championship Game. But at the time of that 3-6 record there were folks who thought Love was trash, the team was bad, and that the sky was falling… The team started to gel and went on a run at the actual point in the season that matters most, with Love playing the best of any QB in the league down the stretch. The bandwagon was then so full you couldn’t find any of those naysayers anywhere!

THIS SEASON the Packers are still the youngest team in the NFL, yet are 6-3 at the 9-game mark this time. Love has been injured a couple times missing 2.5 games, and some other key players have missed games. Yet, we’ve discovered a very competent backup QB, who we got from the Titans for a “chicken sandwich,” and we’ve found some difference-making players amongst our Rookies, who continue to get better weekly!

I’m not sure how many times people have to witness “September and October Champions” who don’t do shit in the playoffs, to understand the NFL season is a progressive marathon; not a sprint?!? Nevertheless, to them the sky is falling every season the team doesn’t win every game! This team is better than it was last season, and is making correctable mistakes, with flashes of what they can be. The training wheels are about to come off… So, some of you may want to start deleting/revising your posts, because when they adjust and go on the run this time, it won’t be to merely get to the Divisional Round of the Playoffs, and your receipts will be pulled, before your hop back on the wagon!

Keep working Packers… Those who understand the journey of a season are with you!
