Sum comments from Fiji fans on Fijiana performance at the Olympics is totally uncalled for, misogynistic and contradictory to our faith &culture on respect for women. We celebrated with them when they won the bronze in Tokyo lets support them in their loss!

After several months of inter-agency efforts, a joint operation last week involving Navy personnel operating out of Forward-base West, alongside Police and Fisheries officers, led to the apprehension of multiple fiberglass boats and more than a dozen individuals engaged in illegal fishing activities.
Amongst the equipment confiscated included dynamite, a highly destructive and illegal method of fishing that poses severe risks to marine ecosystems.
The Navy’s collaboration with partner maritime law enforcement agencies has been instrumental in these successful operations, showcasing the importance of joint efforts in combating illegal activities at sea to protect Fiji’s maritime resources.
