Last week, the department joined other state leaders to visit the Williamson County Schools Innovation Center, which is expected to open to students for the first time in August!
Made possible by the Innovative Schools Model grant, the new building will be on the same campus as the Entrepreneurship Center and will feature classrooms, meeting spaces, a culinary kitchen, a grab-and-go eatery, and community spaces. The Innovation Center will also offer programs in Advanced Power & Machinery, Aviation, Cybersecurity & AI, Hospitality & Tourism, and Fire Management.
We’re excited for all the students who will benefit from this amazing facility this fall! @WCSedu
