Nelson second half syndrome strikes again

He is capable of so much more than what he delivered in these three films. Really hope he gets back to the airtight, sharp writing we saw in #Doctor .

#Jailer2 :-An Average Sequel ⚖️
Solid 1st half packed with good comedy, hype elevations, and Anirudh’s electrifying score.
However, the 2nd half dips significantly. The writing gets weak and stretched out, making most surprise cameos hit-or-miss. Thalaivar’s unmatched swag and the pre-climax final cameo are the only real saving graces before the credits roll.
Writing in the second hour definitely needed more punch.

A solid commercial first half ,pure fan service! Nelson’s trademark dark comedy works like a charm, and the interval bang lands perfectly. Sets things up nicely for the second half.

Ticket-worthy movie! 🔥🔥
#Garividilakshmi
After an excellent first half, the film carried the same energy throughout. Huge credit goes to the music director and the director.
The lead actors deserve immense appreciation. Although there is a slight dip before the climax, the emotional finish delivers incredible satisfaction. Go with your friends and family—you won’t regret it! Both @smayurk and @anandhiactress deserve awards for their acting. Remember the name ANANDHI: sheer perfection in every frame!

#TheParadise #Paradise
Good first half, but the second half completely falls apart. The writing becomes clueless, and even the surprise cameos couldn’t save the film. Feels like two completely different movies.
Even Anirudh’s music was below par, which was unexpected. Navin Nooli seriously need to take a break.
Kayadu Lohar was good, but unfortunately had very little scope to perform.
Started with high expectations, ended up as a big disappointment. 😕
