To prepare for severe weather, TNMP proactively trimmed vegetation along 375 miles of power lines this last year as part of our System Resiliency Plan. This work helps reduce outages and improve safety during hurricane season.
If you’re planning to trim trees:
✔ Never trim within 10 feet of power lines
✔ Contact TNMP before doing any work near wires
✔ Stay safe and leave hazardous trimming to professionals.

Hurricane season is here, and our teams are stepping into it with confidence. Crews, equipment, and emergency systems are fully prepped, and we recently completed a full‑scale drill to test our Emergency Operations Plan with a focus on hurricane response. It was a great way to sharpen coordination and make sure we’re ready for whatever the season brings.
Thanks to our System Resiliency Plan, we’ve made big strides in strengthening the grid and reducing storm‑related risks.

We’ve been preparing all season—starting even before it began—to make sure we have a strong, reliable system in place should a hurricane come our way. 🌪️💪
Hurricane season (June–November) begins today, and now is the time to prepare. Take a few minutes to secure your home, review safety tips, and update your contact information—small steps today can make a big difference later.
Stay informed when it matters most. Sign up for power outage alerts and make sure your contact info is up to date so you can receive real-time updates before, during, and after a storm. ✅

In a packed house of business leaders, community partners and friends, TNMP was proud to be the presenting sponsor of the Leadership Lewisville Graduation Luncheon. Our own Strategic Account Manager, Leigh Ann Weaver, was a graduate in this year's class.
We had a fantastic time hosting the Pilot Point Chamber last week. Sharing how TNMP keeps power flowing to more than 280,000 Texans—and how our energyefficiency programs help local businesses save money—was a privilege.
We were equally inspired by Lovepacs and the incredible work they’re doing to fight food insecurity for students across North Texas. Their dedication to serving children and families is exactly the kind of community partnership we’re proud to support.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and thank you to Pilot Point Post-Signal for shedding light on this collaboration!

TNMP was proud to attend the 142nd annual SWESE Spring Conference in Marksville, LA, where TXNM Energy earned the Stop Shock Award for achieving 1 million man-hours and 12 consecutive months without a lost-time electrical injury. With 11 team members representing regions across Texas, our group participated in valuable discussions, shared lessons learned, and reinforced our commitment to safety. Special shoutout to Talon Cacy for leading a breakout session on Supervisor Safety and presenting on a Central Texas PVI incident—helping drive awareness and prevention across the industry. 👷♂️⚡
TNMP employees were honored to attend the Champions for Children Denton County Luncheon. Hearing Anthony Edwards share his powerful story and support the mission of the Children's Advocacy Center for North Texas was truly inspiring. Grateful to stand with organizations working to bring hope, healing, and justice to children in our communities.

Today we pause to remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Their courage, selflessness, and dedication will never be forgotten. Because of them, we are able to live the lives we do today. Forever grateful, always honoring. 🇺🇸
Happy National EMS Week! 🚑 We dropped off some goodies at North Bosque EMS to show a little extra love. We are so incredibly grateful for everything they do to keep our communities safe every single day! 🙌💙

We had the absolute best time with the kindergarteners and first graders at Westwood Elementary for their Touch a Truck event!
The kids got a total hands-on experienceexploring the cab, trying on real lineman gloves and hard hats, and watching our bucket truck in action. Safe to say, we had just as much fun as they did sharing a look at the cool work our crews do every day. 👷♂️✨
Big thanks to Giles Middle School for hosting us at Career Day! Steve and Mike M. had a blast meeting with students in Texas City and sharing what a day in the life of a TNMP lineman looks like. 👷♂️🔌 Who knows, we might have met some future members of the TNMP crew! #careerfair #careerday
We had a fun day at Godwin Elementary in Princeton, TX! We brought out a couple of our trucks and equipment for Career Fair and Touch-A-Truck and enjoyed talking with the kids about what we do at TNMP.
TNMP was a proud sponsor of the 36th annual Reeves Regional Health Fair where community came together to create a day that focused on wellness, education, and service for families across the region. Our Pecos employees provided Arcing Demos and discussed safety with the community.
Ladies from our Central Texas office had the opportunity to attend the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce incredible Ladies in Leadership Luncheon, with guest speaker, former Fort Worth City Mayor, Betsy Price. It was an amazing time of encouragement and empowerment from one woman to another, and we were so thankful to participate!
