but what really broke the barrier for me on the level of interest was witnessing polymarket in late '25 early '26

the sheer amount of usage & volume generated by automated trading bots on the platform

literally most people I knew IRL were even trying to build their own via claude

the social engagement automated polymarket bots & strategies got on X was insane

literally was a growth glitch at the time

the interest was clearly there

the holy grail of personal income 'print whilst you sleep'

yet it hadn't been done on crypto before?

why not?

It was the perfect environment

sheer degeneracy

billions in volume

data arbritrage everywhere (naturally being onchain..)

30k new launches every day

e.g 30k new money making opportunities every day

seemed like a complete no brainer yet nobody had executed on it

all I saw were cheap copytrading bots & 'agentic' trading that delivered no results

excited to climb the ranks on defillama

excited to publish a super attractive dune dashboard
