You condemn xenophobia in South Africa, cry over racism in Europe, yet romanticize tribalism in Nigeria...
Are you truly fighting for unity and equality, or just picking battles that suit you?

For the sake of learning, help me ask Mr Sunday Igboho if truly he engaged/employed 50,000 members into the Iru EKUN Security Network and has gotten the federal government approval which means he doesn’t need any approval from the state, how does he intend to fund,
1. Purchase of Sophisticated weapons for ground and aerial duels
2. Payment of Salaries and Benefits/Bonuses to 50,000 people every month
3. Purchase Gadgets for intelligence gathering
4. Purchase Vehicles/motorcycles for movement
5. Set up posts/ camps/offices for coordination
and many questions to be asked after these has been answered.
It’s all about continuity and being loyal to the good people of Oyo state and the state.

In a few days, Nigeria marks 27 years of uninterrupted democracy.
History has shown that women have always been at the centre of that story.
To mark this year's Democracy Day, Invictus Africa will be sharing intergenerational stories of women who helped birth, protect, and shape Nigeria's democracy.
Come along.
#ForAllWomenAndGirls #GenderEquality #RepresentationMatters #WRAPs
They have come with their patronizing (and quite frankly, disrespectful) narrative.
The reality of their promise? I love that it was captured clearly by @InvictusAfrica.
This is why I am making a film about women’s civic participation so we can toss out these outright lies.
26 years of democracy have yet to move the needle for women in Nigeria's National Assembly.
According to the Centre for Democracy and Development, in the first 24 years of Nigeria's democracy, 2,657 men were elected to the National Assembly, compared to just 157 women.
The pattern has been consistent for decades.
This is beyond the rhythm of the song and the melody behind the lyrics, it is about our pain, our unwanted reality.
Who would have thought that classrooms will no longer be safe? Who would have thought that vulnerable children would be turned to puns in the hands of the people we elected?
Election is around the corner, and they’re making promises again, innocent children are in the loins of daredevils, yet, it’s business as usual for them… who do we call?
Dear people in government, pick up the call. You know what to do, we’re begging you. Do it. Bring back the kids and their teachers… Edakun 🙏🏾
A new month is here.
Let us leave behind what didn't work and move forward with HOPE, FOCUS and DETERMINATION
Wishing you a prosperous new month ahead.
