Here is my opening column for @macleans. I love writing about ag and I am grateful for every opportunity to do so. I think this stuff is important! I hope you do, too! https://t.co/N2xxGFBPuI

Good morning, Alberta! Registration closes end-of-day Wednesday (tomorrow) for next week's Effective Extension training in Calgary from Sept. 3-4 #abag#westcdnag https://t.co/Owe6AVqukO
Proud to see Burr Forest Group’s work in ag extension featured in the today's Free Press.
Bringing research to life for farmers is difficult, but vital. Our Effective Extension program is helping orgs do just that.
Excited for what’s next!

Last week, Burr Forest Group rolled out its Effective Extension: Comms Training for Farm Groups program. It was amazing! Extension is critical to a thriving ag sector, and that sentiment was reinforced over the time we were together.
Thanks to everyone who participated!

Podcast recording days at @BurrForest are tops. Producer Abby tacked on a photoshoot. @CanolaWatch and I obliged. It'll be a fantastic @thextensionists episode!
I value building things. The process - from conception to design to setbacks to completion - is often a miniaturized crucible from which I learn something about myself. It's storage for pool and ping-pong accessories. Simple, simple. I'm happy with how it turned out.
Appreciate the shoutout, SaskOilseeds! It has been and continues to be an honour to work with you, your team, and your directors!
Thanks to SaskOilseeds and other sponsors, such as @MbPulseGrowers, for supporting us and our passion for agricultural extension!

SaskOilseeds is a proud sponsor of The Extensionists podcast – with @tobandyck and @CanolaWatch. We love that they talk to researchers, inventors, and farmers. Like this podcast, we aim to amplify important topics in agriculture. Check them out anywhere you stream podcasts or visit https://t.co/DZ8dLUoTRX
My #CropConnect25 gear rundown: @kart_track balaclava & helmet for tonight's annual race, clubs in case there's time for the Golf Dome, camera because work, a winter survival bag because it goes where I go, & clothes because why not. Not pictured: a good attitude. See you soon!
I could not be prouder of my wife, Jamie, who successfully defended her master's thesis proposal at the University of Manitoba yesterday. Her advisors are ecstatic about her research and they are already pushing her towards a doctorate. I am so proud!! She's amazing!
CBC - The National came to my farm today to interview me about the tariffs Trump recently imposed on Canadian products. It was an unexpected end to the weekend. I don't take speaking on behalf of an industry lightly. I do my best.
Ag mustn’t forget that – regardless of whether the tariffs are imposed – the threat was made and the panic was real. Let’s be motivated to continue making the changes to our industry that were given speed last weekend. Trump has dramatically raised the cost of complacency. #cdnag
Seasoned Prairie farm journalists Jay Whetter and Toban Dyck team up for an entertaining and informative podcast that draws upon their ag knowledge and considerable conversation skills https://t.co/FoIDlaC7aX @AlbertaGrains@BurrForest@KenoraJay@tobandyck
Every so often, I stumble across this photo. It pulls me in every time. It's an old one. I have posted it numerous times.
This iteration, though, is my best, most realistic edit.
It was taken moments after that system passed over our farm to the east.
I used the word 'multiliteracies' in an ag presentation today. My wife, a Grade 4 teacher, whose master's studies are focused on literacy, might be proud; might be incredulous; might be something I know not yet what. Thanks for having me out, @MBGovAg! It was a great event!
