@Austeiin I'm not invalidating your point at all.
Just wanted to provide clarity based on what I saw.
I didn't see where other people corrected you, wouldn't have said anything if I did.
Let's be very clear, being a contrarian driven by religious indoctrination is not the same thing as "scientific questioning", no matter how you window-dress it. The problem isn't skepticism itself, it’s that the "question everything" crowd do not question the sermons, prophecies, or mishmashed YouTube videos that their pastor with "theology" doctorates from Obalende underbridge fed to them.
When you only question things that a religious charlatan has told you to question, and your science "genes" only activates when the topic is vaccines or global science & mysteriously switches off when the claim comes wrapped in scripture, that's not independent thinking, that's just outsourcing your critical thinking to a different authority figure.
Also, science isn’t a marketplace where every idea deserves equal airtime(which is why I have refused to call any of this a debate). It's a method. It isn't random suspicion, it’s disciplined doubt. You form a hypothesis, try to break it, and let evidence decide what survives. Most ideas fail. That's the point. Science advances by eliminating bad explanations, not by entertaining them indefinitely.
If every claim deserved equal space simply because someone "asked a question," we’d still be debating if germs cause disease or if the earth is flat(wait, you may actually believe that one). Science isn't about questioning settled facts just to feel rebellious, it’s about following evidence even when it contradicts what you want to be true.
This isn't some deep search for knowledge. It's a refusal to accept it.
Let us start by putting all the religious beliefs your pulpit-scientist doesn't want challenged. Start challenging it daily here so we will know that you're a true "scientist".
Absolutely spot on!
Seamless UX and straight-to-the-point answers to your searches without the need to know which Government department does what.
You don’t need to know which ministry handles what, how the civil service is structured, which agency owns which service
You just search what you want to do and you get your answers.
Sometimes, you read a story that makes the blood in your veins run cold.
Blessing's baby, Victory, was born premature and diagnosed with hydrocephalus (fluid in the brain), and she needs an urgent ₦1,000,000 surgery to survive.
Instead of support, Blessing’s husband called her a witch for having a sick child and threw her and their baby out onto the street.
Now, Blessing is alone, fighting for her daughter's life with nothing.
Her husband turned his back, but we will not.
AprokoNation, let's be the family she needs right now. Let's save Victory.
