Scratches his scalp; ruffling his hair a bit before straightening it back up. He hid his Luparian ears, and huffed after doing so.
"Another day. Fantastic."
Hati would sigh, thereafter.
"Training? Is your mom a fighter or something?"
That... Made him seem to think of something, to himself; a bitter frown etching itself on his face for a second, before she smiled. He'd return the expression, and follow.
"It does? Like what?"
"Lead the way, Cayenne." He was trying to get his emotions under control, since all of this was quite the rollercoaster to him.
"You have to head home? Why?" He sounded like he enjoyed her company quite a bit.
--response.
"You jumped out in front of me, and I fell back! Anyone would've ended up doing the same! That doesn't mean you scared me. That'd be like throwing a rock at you, and you saying I hit you." Was it like that, though?
Neither was he. He was headstrong, especially when it came to his pride.
That catlike grin of hers only made him step a bit closer; anger growing within his very being.
"At least coyotes would be smart enough to not talk back, then." Her quip was met with yet another angry--
--get the jump on another person." His eyes, too, narrowed. This was going to be a long exchange, wasn't it?
"SCARING me? Don't flatter yourself. You took me by surprise, nothing more." The faint pink hue on his cheeks suggested otherwise.
He had a feeling she'd be the type to fire back, verbally. She did find his reaction funny, after all.
"At least coyotes have an excuse to act foolishly. You're an intelligent, speaking being, and yet here you are playing some child's game. Leaping out of the shadows to--
--though, was the fact that his teeth were sharper than most humans or Saiyans.
"If I was someone else, that could've cost you your life, moron." Did he mean what he said? Who knew?
Her laughter. It was... Degrading. Humiliating. Agitating...
AT HIS EXPENSE!!!
He shot up to his feet; his face only reddening, then, because of his anger.
"You've got some nerve, laughing at me. And being childish, at that!" He'd scoff; nearly gritting his teeth at her. Odd--
--
"What the hell do you think you're trying to pull?" A flush of pink crept onto his cheeks, in slight humiliation. He had his fears, but... This was just someone messing with him!
At night, everything tended to be dark... Especially in the wilderness. Thus, while searching for a place to camp, while his group was night-hunting, he'd be startled, much to his dismay.
She got him to stumble backwards onto his rear-end.
"HEY!" He had a hand on his chest.--
"That's... Entirely up to you. I'm not really accustomed to city life or other activities." He wouldn't quite explain why, but the look on his face was one of slight embarrassment.
"I'd... Like to say that I and those I travel with prefer that, too." As far as he knew, two of his gang members weren't exactly the softest.
"Speaking of... I think they'll still be busy for awhile, if you still want to hang out."
Slowly, he'd started to notice that his eyes stayed on her, rather than the animals at the zoo. First, it was her tail, then the distractions.
Why was he so focused on her, then?
"I don't either... But sometimes it's necessary." He'd admit; frowning.
"Wasn't anybody worried about your safety?" He'd assumed she could fly, since his idea of Saiyans fell upon his father, who could do the same.
"I... Don't really remember much about when I was younger. Just... One or two things."
"Are you sure it's not any trouble?" A look of actual concern plastered itself onto his features. He wasn't so expressive, before. He even stopped gazing at her tail.
He was led to the pandas; marveling at their size.
"They're so much bigger than the Red Pandas!" He mused.
