And PSA has the LEAST transparency of all graders. I blame Phil Hughes myself. If you recall during covid he was arguably the most popular “card guy” online. He pumped PSA harder than anyone and EVERYTHING he submitted got a 10. It most definitely has not always been this way and I completely agree with you, dude. I prefer SGC, BGS, and especially TAG slabs over PSA.

@Ob1JohnKenob1 Maris autos draw a hefty premium because there are significantly less in circulation than other stars of that era. He was extremely reserved and didn’t sign much in general, and as most know, he died at a young age, so the scarcity is real. Beautiful card, pass that down.

That price doesn’t seem unreasonable, and it’s a beautiful card. Wagner is a bit undervalued, IMO (T-206 aside). If you ever get a chance to listen to, or read testimonies of players from that era, they were almost unanimous in saying he was the greatest baseball player they had ever seen play the game.
