@WolfgangRichtEU@SanderSassen Seriously? Almost all of his wealth is tied up in assets he will never be able to sell. This is why useful idiots believe the “Tax the rich” stupidity.
@mattvanswol A few days after the storm a group of Amish men cleared a washed out road on the mountain where my friend lives. He and his family were stuck with no power or water. A great example for the rest of us to follow.
Update: Land has been secured and clearing started. We are on the list for a well and septic. This is my grandson’s last week in public school. #homestead#homeschool
“But the curse of every ancient civilization was that its men in the end became unable to fight. Materialism, luxury, safety, even sometimes an almost modern sentimentality, weakened the fibre of each civilized race in turn; each became in the end a nation of pacifists, and then each was trodden under foot by some ruder people that had kept that virile fighting power the lack of which makes all other virtues useless and sometimes even harmful.”
-Teddy Roosevelt
@Rep_Stansbury Your team thought this post was a good idea? So much to unpack. Short version: not illegal, no war was declared, and congress doesn’t do anything except “act” (put on a performance).
The Deferred Resignation Program ended for me yesterday and I am officially retired.
I spent the last 27 years as an IT Program/Project Manager but in two weeks, I will start a construction class. Inspired by Charlie Kirk, I plan to:
1. Buy land
2. Build something
3. Homeschool my grandson
Wish me luck!
@BernieSanders Just STOP! You purposely confuse wealth with income to enrage the stupid. People didn’t become billionaires because of their income, it was because their investments/assets increased in value. They don’t have billions of dollars just sitting around.
@ReichlinMelnick If you walked into your living room to find a strange man, what “due process” would be appropriate? Would you get the guest room ready, give him one of your credit cards, and make sure the fridge is full? The grownups are in charge now.
@IratxeGarper@ThierryBreton The DSA is censorship and you know it. If you don’t like it, you can disconnect and isolate like North Korea but you don’t get to “regulate” US companies or citizens.
