Let me reintroduce myself.
I am Tobiloba David.
19 years old.
I'm a product designer & brand designer.
I build the brands that people remember. The best designer for your brand/Saas.
If you're a founder, a fellow designer, or a techy, let's connect.
Oh! I love figma.
Sending money across Africa has always been expensive.
slow.... and nobody was coming to fix it."
that's what most people accepted.
but here's what they missed
the problem was never the people.
it was the pipes.
6.4% fees. 3–5 days.
a tax on friction Africans have been paying for generations.
@paga just chose @SuiNetwork
to rebuild those payment pipes from scratch.
Bringing...
- sub-second settlement.
-zero gas fees.
yield-bearing dollar accounts.
cross-border payments that move
at the speed of a text message.
the system wasn't broken.
it just wasn't built for us.
now it is. 🌍
One wanted to reach out to me for possible collaboration. Bro is not even paying me oo, he sent a message explaining his startup, and before I could come back online to reply because the network was pretty bad, bro deleted it.
Like wf! Did I ask you to send me a dm??
Do i want to steal your startup idea??
Someone said something on X about a founder who told his designers he no longer needs them because Codex helps them ship faster.
I’ll still say this: it’s easier for AI to replace developers than designers.
Coding is logic. Design is art.
AI is not doing something magical in the design space. Most of what it generates comes from patterns, references, and existing styles. That’s why a lot of AI designs still feel generic after a while.
Either way, the people who will suffer the most are mid-level devs and designers.
If you’re still relying on basic HTML, CSS, and JS thinking you’re untouchable, you’re far gone.
If you’re still designing the same landing pages as 999 others, then your design career is also in danger.
The safest people are the ones with depth:
taste, systems thinking, product thinking, branding, architecture, storytelling, originality.
I’ve worked with founders who shipped products quickly through vibe coding, then later came back needing:
- a better interface
- stronger UX
- proper branding
- a clear identity they could actually market
Shipping fast is one thing. Building something people remember, trust, and connect with is another.
Dunno mention, we don't do that here.
A founder woke up and sent these messages out to his designers.
Read it slowly.
This isn't a threat. This is the market sending you a memo.
The question isn't "will AI replace designers?"
It already is.
The question is… what are you building that AI can't?
