Earnings Season Is Becoming an After-Hours Trading Game 👀

One thing I’ve started paying more attention to lately is how much earnings volatility now spills into after-hours trading.

Some of the biggest moves happen when the traditional market is already closed, which is why I’ve been using Bitget and GetAgent AI more often to prepare trades ahead of earnings releases.

Marvell Technology already reported yesterday and the numbers were honestly strong:
🟢 Revenue: $2.418B (+28% YoY)
🟢 EPS: $0.80
Now the next one I’m watching closely is Costco earnings later today at 21:00 UTC.
Consensus expectations currently sit around:
🟡 Revenue: $69.3B
🟡 EPS: $4.56

I asked GetAgent to break down possible price reactions for both $MRVL and $COST , and the interesting part is how differently the setups look.

For MRVL, the AI infrastructure narrative still feels very strong. Semiconductor momentum, data center demand, and AI-related spending continue to support the sector heavily.
For COST, this feels more like a direct test of consumer strength and spending resilience in the current market.
My current view:
I think MRVL still has room for another leg higher if momentum stays strong after earnings digestion.

For COST, I’m expecting a larger move than most traders anticipate if guidance comes in stronger than expected.

What I like most is being able to set positions ahead of market open with Bitget 24/7 trading instead of missing the after-hours reaction completely.

Strategy now holds roughly $64.8B in $BTC while sitting on only about $870M in cash, another reminder of how heavily positioned the market still is during this consolidation phase. Markets also never move on headlines alone.

Just hours after Trump’s “deal in the works” comments on May 24 helped trigger a sharp drop in oil, fresh U.S. strikes on missile sites and mine-laying boats in southern Iran quickly reversed sentiment, pushing #oil back up around 4%.

This is why geopolitical trades remain extremely volatile. One headline can shift short-term momentum fast, but the broader uncertainty around a U.S.–Iran deal still keeps risk elevated.

My view right now: short-term oil momentum looks bullish again, and my bearish outlook from yesterday is temporarily on hold. I’m still watching $CL at $90–$95 range closely while trading the momentum on Bitget CFD.
