The first week back at my parents' place is already coming to a close. There's still a good chunk of time left, we're only 11 days into the January and I'll be here till the 26th. Though it's wild how quickly the time passes.

While I've been here, I've found myself doodling a lot more. Nothing lewd, for the record. My idle doodles are decidedly unsexy. Houses, fish, turtles, and funny faces tend to show up when I'm not thinking very hard.

Spending about 30 minutes a day on this has been a nice way to scratch that art itch without stressing myself out. There's something about working on paper that makes it easier to just faff about without worrying about the quality of the result.

Honestly, this might be a new warm-up routine for me, even after I get back to digital.
