It takes an insane man to play like this for 4 years, lose the ballon d’or for 4 years straight, not complain even once, get to work and show up better the next year.
His greatest legacy is him not breaking down mentally between 2009 - 2012.
That’s why some people are willing to die for him.
The mentality is different.
The moment you hït a man, you’re both on the same level
You’re both adults, and he has the right to defend himself
She used the first slap to test whether he would retaliatë
@Treyyung15@Giba4w@Klyyvo@carter8f We are talking 03 plus, cr7 was never a striker...he was a creator just like messi...so they'll most likely be creating for the 9. And scoring as a plus...things might go as you assumed later in their career like from '15/16
WE’VE GOT TO ADMIT IT WITHOUT FEAR
As a lifelong Cristiano Ronaldo fan, if Messi wins a second World Cup, whether i think it was deserved or not… it becomes impossible to deny him.
He has to be recognised as the second greatest footballer of all time.
Still comfortably behind Cristiano GOATnaldo. 🐐
This is what actually vexes me. We’ve watched these two go head-to-head for almost 15 years. If you couldn’t decide who your GOAT was throughout their primes, why are you suddenly using what they’re winning at the very end of their careers to settle the debate?
Did anyone say the debate was over when Ronaldo won his second international trophy? Did everyone suddenly crown him the undisputed GOAT? No. So why should the opposite happen now?
If you think Messi is the greatest, that’s your opinion and that’s fine. But changing your mind solely because of trophies won in the final chapter of their careers makes no sense. Judge their entire body of work, not just how the story ends.
Ronaldo is the Goat, Messi should win 3 World Cup, Ronaldo remains the GOAT.
Messi once retired from international football because Argentina couldn’t win. Ronaldo never walked away. That didn’t end the GOAT debate.
Ronaldo was the first of the two to win a major international trophy for his country. But now that Argentina have a team that steps up on the biggest occasions, suddenly the international football Messi once ran away from is now the standard we’re supposed to use to judge his career against Ronaldo’s.
You can fool the casuals, but not ME!
