The wonky legal analysis in the Delaware decision is interesting, but where’s the common sense??!! Does anyone actually believe shareholders don’t overwhelmingly want the comp package? This is a coup against Elon and all those who own Tesla.

The vote on the pay package for @elonmusk should be a landslide in favor.

There’s a long list of things I was incredibly proud of to work on during my years at Tesla and the pay package is at the top. It was the most shareholder friendly pay package ever conceived - no pay of any kind unless shareholders did better than anyone thought possible - and Elon should be celebrated for having signed up to it.

The thought that any investor would have pocketed the tremendous upside over the past 6 years and not honor this deal now - after Elon moved mountains to make that upside happen - is unfathomable.

I had a front row seat to Elon’s incredible sacrifice, the pain that he quietly endured, and his brilliant leadership and decision-making. He led from the front, inspired everyone else at Tesla to achieve what most didn’t even realize they could do, and the world changed for the better as a result.

If you’re a Tesla investor, please let sanity and fairness prevail, vote to ratify this incredibly good deal, and sit back and watch Elon lead the company towards even more amazing achievements (and value creation)!
