Todochi is now live on iOS and Android. πBoth platforms, same app.
Pick a character voice, Lumi, Mochi, Dante, or Commander, and they deliver your reminders instead of a flat notification. Or RECORD YOUR OWN VOICE, or someone else's, so reminders sound like people you actually want to hear from.
Made by four π΅π brothers. Try it and tell us what to improve.

We finally submitted Todochi to RevenueCat Shipaton 2026 π
Weβre entering:
π Grand Prize
π Build in Public
π¨ Design Award
π Keep Them Coming Back with OneSignal
BuildinPublic means a lot to us because people got to see Todochi while we were still figuring things out.
Some feedback actually changed the app. People pointed out issues with reminders, suggested how we should present Todochi on the App Store, and even helped us rethink how we post across platforms.
It made the whole journey feel less like the four of us building alone.
We also entered the Design Award because a lot of Todochi was made personally by us. Calahan hand drew the characters in IbisPaint, and we designed the app to feel warm, soft, and friendly.
Thank you to everyone who tested Todochi, gave feedback, or followed the journey. It really helped us keep going π

From ideas on a notebook to officially being submitted to RevenueCat Shipaton 2026! π
Todochi started as an idea between four brothers who wanted to build something together. What started as a simple concept eventually became a real app for iOS and Android.
We invested weeks into coding, successfully shipping the app, listening to feedback, and sharing launch updates along the way.
Now, Todochi is officially submitted to Shipaton 2026!
Thank you to everyone who supported us, gave feedback, shared our posts, or followed our #BuildInPublic journey. π

Todochi progress update! π
Since launching on Android & iOS:
Android

β’ 25 active devices this month
β’ 33.5% store listing conversion
iOS
β’ 21 downloads
β’ 73 product page views
β’ ~22β29% recent conversion rate
Still early, but weβre excited to see people using something the four of us built together. π
More updates soon, and a new version is cooking!

@TreerPP Thank you! Most of our page views have been coming from our social media posts and sharing the app in developer/hackathon communities, like Facebook groups. Weβre still figuring out which channels convert best, so weβve been tracking the numbers as we go! π
Another Todochi story is now on HackerNoon π
This one is about how we built Todochi for both iOS and Android using one shared React Native codebase.
Sharing code helped a lot, but we learned pretty quickly that cross platform does not mean both platforms behave the same π
If you are building with React Native too, this one might feel familiar.

Todochi v1.2.0 is here π
This update is mostly about making Todochi more useful and more reliable day to day.
We improved the progress screen and calendar, added more categories and character voices, and fixed a bunch of Android alarm issues.
A lot of these changes came from things we noticed after launch and from feedback along the way.

Tip for anyone building their first app: find your testers early, and don't treat the testing period as just a countdown.
We learned this while getting Todochi approved on Google Play, we got rejected once, went through a second round of testing, and came out with real improvements because of it. Full story linked below.
