@4n6lady Yeah... had it once where the last trouble shooting step from the helpdesk was to reset the modem to factory settings which I didn't want to do because I'd spent ages sorting out IP allocation.
And of course it fixed my issue ๐.
@peterrhague I'm curious who approached who for this partnership. SpaceX brought in a costume design to help with the aesthetic of their suits, so even if not offering technical assistance it isn't unprecedented.
@AntiEVidiots Hearing people still talking about EV batteries "only lasting 3-4 years" is weird when you're driving around a 4 year old EV without an issue.
It's gone from just repeating FUD to being an outright denial of reality.
@DrChrisCombs I'm *really* curious about the timing on this, as the original hopper was certainly thicker steel than they're using now, though not sure about the Mk1 and early SN1 prototypes. That being said, how thick is the steel on a centaur? Drastically different loading of course though
@PebMet1@xThrawn@Adam19003447070@ThePrimalDino That's their job... That's like complaining an area gets closed off after a crime scene.
The FAA and SpaceX thought they had all their bases covered, but it didn't turn out to be the case, so it needed to be investigated to ensure nothing else was missed.
@Anton81191831 If it were achieving that goal it one launch, it'd be a better ROI and need less launches, or do more work for the same number of launches.
@suchnerve Everything else aside, why would he host an event for people from his work at her place? If they lived together they would be different, but it sounded like they live separately.
(Aside from the obvious reason that her place is clearly cooler than his)
@peterrhague I do like the NASA priorities chart though - it's a shame that the budget for moon exploration is taking away from some of those other areas.
