Round 1 is done in the #1940sLeadActresses Tournament! Maureen O'Hara's win over Gene Tierney was the tourney's first upset. However, I felt these actresses were pretty evenly matched.

Round 2 will be Wednesday. I'm intrigued to see what happens with Hepburn vs. Bergman!

Despite much discussion over whether The Sound of Music is a biopic, it upset Yankee Doodle Dandy easily in the first round of the #FilmBiographies Tournament. Lower seed Raging Bull knocked out Ray in the #8 vs.# 9 match-up.
