Tom Briglia

I whinge about St Kilda at Red, White and Black (@RWBFooty); I whinge via music as Sissysocks

“Slink Away” is out today.
I sat on this and stewed over this far too much and for far too long. I hope there is something to be found in it all. xx

@StKFootball Oh. My god.

[The Saint @StKFootball]

The thought of him trying to make sense of how we might have improved yet simultaneously gone backwards, with nothing to show for it, will be a summer essay I will read at least four times.

If we’re here for the plot
and I all know you are
then @Tom_Briglia’s
end of season wrap
would be funnier
if we missed
a wildcard
spot

And now she’s crying in the Barkly Square car park. Look what you’ve done St Kilda

Ivy’s first time at M*rvel ❤️🤍🖤

[Tom Briglia @Tom_Briglia]

At the age of 9 months to the day, Ivy went to her first AFL game today. Her first experience (in a way) of momentum swings, marks of the year, being part of the away crowd, and disappointment.

She loved it.

So many St Kilda things she will see in her St Kilda-supporting life!

@LukeHolmesby @RWBFooty Luke thank you so much! Really appreciate that. And thank you so much for making your way through it all. 💫

[Tom Briglia @Tom_Briglia]

@APH1991 @RWBFooty Hey Adam! I am related to Paul Briglia, although a little spuriously - I believe he is my grandfather’s cousin but I’ll get back to you on that! I actually didn’t realise Jack Dalton is related to him, thanks very much for that heads up.

[Tom Briglia @Tom_Briglia]

I wrote around 20,000 words about following the Saints in 2025 for @RWBFooty.

This is part 2 of 2.

Winter and Spring (and some Summer): the Miracle, and what it could mean; Nas; Tauru season; falling in and out of fashion; and St Kilda making its move.

[Tom Briglia @Tom_Briglia]

@snowcappedpeak @RWBFooty Haha thanks to Siri for probably doing a bit of heavy lifting for my writing!

[Tom Briglia @Tom_Briglia]

@FantasyGunAFL @RWBFooty It could be the hinge moment in the club’s modern history. But we won’t know until we know. 👼

[Tom Briglia @Tom_Briglia]

@lobstar_69 @RWBFooty Thanks very much Rusty! And thanks for making it all the way through!

[Tom Briglia @Tom_Briglia]

@StKFootball @RWBFooty Oh my god that photo. *That* specific moment in time.
