@gamefan_14 As long as Tim Shaffer is in, a new game set in the Grim Fandango world would be neat. I can see why they left it in the past, but Day of the Dead meets Casablanca with that sense of humor and art direction just hits me in the right spot.
@nathanrabin What's the ubiquitous, powerful and eminently mockable thing that'll get people stop acting as the reactionary publicists of these bafoons?
@yourgirldad124@FiringSolar@adifying Just look at those animations, they're hilarious! I'll give it up to Sonic for that. Mario is too boring in his competency sometimes.
@MooMooHippos@MalescoMairead@RiseFallNickBck Considering it came out a while back a lot of voters hadn't even seen the animated nominees it's not too bad a joke. Although I wish we were past this.
@Ketchup5751@FiringSolar@adifying All the self control of a rubber ball in a china shop. Good thing he banked into the air and managed to figure out which direction was up before landing on his face.
@FiringSolar@adifying The contemporary comparison would be this guy. Mario was a seasoned pro by the time that kid with the attitude arrived on the scene.
(Just having fun, it's a silly argument. Honestly the newest Sonic I played was on GameCube.)
@FiringSolar@adifying His acceleration and handling are terrible. All mario needs is a banana peel, or even better, a moving koopa shell.
Mario's got the immaculate grace of an olympic gymnast and Jackie Chan. Plus fireballs.
@jaylen99115130 @MyeRazia@Gizeh396981@adifying Mario's a beast with a fire flower underwater. Destroying the delicate ecosystem as Sonic watches from the shore.
Then Mario emerges with his water gun atop a prehistoric sea monster.
@ScottHa63721366 I like DKC, but the gameplay is kind of sluggish. I suppose barrels and animal transformations add something, but it's no branching overworld maps. SMW's level design is amazing.
