You can still be someone who buys one of my songs for $10, just for the f*ck of it
You can call yourself a @supercollector_ when we meet, I'll be impressed
Because a higher value format is a vibe? (I'm not talking fine art, like nice edition vibe)

Are you a music artist selling digital music downloads DIRECT from your own website?
I'm researching something for @Sleevenote. Reply with the link below and let me know how you are doing it (eg stripe + dropbox)
Apple officially discontinued the iPod on my birthday 4 years ago
For a very long time I've had this idea for a music player that felt like a physical copy, and now it's REAL.
This is what a device looks like that strives to go beyond a music player and actually embody a music release. Only possible with 2020s screen tech. This is Sleevenote. For those that want to hold on to albums.
Are you in or near London? Join us for a little shindig at the music culture emporium that is the Unified Goods London store.
A chance to get hands on with the device and chat with us about all things music hardware and more. See you there. RSVP:

@dgreenstein1@jamesblake My experience is that typically a fan is connected to an artist via specific songs (and the albums they are on), which is why we double-down on songs-as-membership-badges with @supercollector_. I still believe this is the most viable way to create value for music, in communities.
@dgreenstein1 Hey David, just saw the (old) Vault news via Water & Music and feel compelled to point out the original feelings that The Guardian asked me to elaborate on. I was so keen to talk to you and @jamesblake at the time about this. Anyway, we keep building.
