Yesterday we cycled through heavy rainstorms, strong wind, cold; we had punctures and mechanical issues plus some unpleasant comments, yet that pales in comparison to what Palestinian people face on a daily basis. Please give generously if you can. https://t.co/F0pzIuQhqd
I rarely use X/twitter now, the algorithms are terrible and it's become unenjoyable. I'm giving bluesky a try and will post my profile here for those interested.
@Dean_y_ If you seen the football we play week in week out you would understand why. I sympathise with him as it's crap team full stop but he is way out of his depth. The Soton game was extremely fortunate for us as was Ipswich.
@laurensam@_LFI As usual you offer no proof. Look at my pic, that is outside the stadium in Amsterdam. I know the football scene there well, and in Israel too. I've seen varying levels of football violence for 20 years. These were hooligans looking for trouble, and picked the wrong crowd.
@laurensam@_LFI Haven't seen any car ramming or stab victims, only a car driving off after being attacked with a hammer by a tel aviv fan. They went to cause trouble as numerous videos show and got a kicking, it is as simple as that.
When tens of thousands are killed in Palestine and we use words like 'genocide', we're told it's an insult to previous victims. When a few dozen football hooligans are attacked after rampaging round a city, all of a sudden it's a pogrom. Unbelievable hypocrisy.
These weren’t ‘clashes’.
It was a modern-day pogrom.
And another warning to the West about the consequences of mass migration and failed integration.
Wake up before it’s too late.
Politicians up in arms about the scenes in Amsterdam shows exactly what we're up against. No mention of Palestine flags being ripped down everywhere, but when locals fight back, it's a 'pogrom'. We must never concede anything to these.
Labour are a total dud. They got in due to a split in the right and have got off to the worst start possibly ever. Farage will be buoyoed, Kemi is not that popular, all setting up for a huge next General Election
Moment Labour MP Mike Amesbury sucker punched constituent and then beat six times him while he lay on the ground caught on shocking CCTV footage https://t.co/URKuP2gdyt
Hello America … you can vote for billionaires and fascism, or you can vote for in-touch people and freedom … why you’re even making it close is beyond the rest of the world (apart from the leaders of Russia, China and North Korea).
It is reported that you, @PoppyLegion, have a department of Diversity and Inclusion whose head is paid between £64,122 and £67,437 a year. If this is correct, how is that a useful way of spending money donated to your charity by millions of people?
