The fact we have been pursuing a number 6 since klopp went for Tchoumeni suggests klopp felt there was a need of one. Failed attempts at bringing in Lavia, Caicedo further enhanced that notion. It’s now been made public knowledge that new coach also thinks it’s an area he wants strengthening and so club tried ,and failed to bring in Zubamendi . Its simply not good enough for all in charge not to provide new coach with what he feels he needs . 20 odd days to not look like a small club.
