Meet Charlie and Cadno in The Last Firefox by @leewhowrites; beautifully illustrated by Laura Catalàn. Charlie is worried about lots of things but when he has to look after the last ever Firefox, he starts to find his inner fire. A story of inclusion and friendship.
stop shaming people for reading kids’ books. adult books are about sad people having affairs while kids’ books have a magic tree house or a worm driving an apple. you tell me who’s winning
I’ve had a really upsetting few days. This week, I’ve been BANNED from talking about my YA books at a Catholic school. Full story here, but I urge you to read this thread too. I need your help, and more importantly, some LGBT kids do too…

Little one had his first parents evening tonight. He’s confident, polite and rather busy. He will often do handstands in the middle of circle time 😅 Sounds like our little firecracker. Please don’t change 😅
