@alperortac That's great. Would be nice if it had infinite scroll so that after you got to the end of the list, it just kept coming up with more if you feel like rating a load

[Tom Ward @TomBuildsIt]

@orcdev Love the whole look and the loading screen effect in particular

[Tom Ward @TomBuildsIt]

@radiumcoders Cool comparison site Jay. I must look into this more. I've been using commercial ones and in retrospect the local ones were so good now.

[Tom Ward @TomBuildsIt]

@robinebers You know just because it's called a duo you don't need two?

[Tom Ward @TomBuildsIt]

@spisallyouneed Looks amazing. Super keen to try this on https://t.co/CRBotamJEe. We've tested them all so if you really do beat openai models for CAD we'd love to give it a go for some engineering 3d and dancing geckos alike ...

[Tom Ward @TomBuildsIt]

@robinebers Indeed. Although ironic that Claude didn't suggest a text compression mechanism that was invented in the 80s until now.

[Tom Ward @TomBuildsIt]

@mattpocockuk Nice. Always thought the LOC metric was possibly the wrong one but never tried the token one (duh!). And hooks make even more sense.

[Tom Ward @TomBuildsIt]

@robinebers Openrouter have a mechanism to prefer the same provider - think they call it sticky routing and you have to pass it a seassion id. Works most of the time excluding real down time. Suspect vercel might have something similar?

[Tom Ward @TomBuildsIt]

@alperortac Got to try this out. my wife and I spent 45 mins trying to find something to watch last night and gave up!

[Tom Ward @TomBuildsIt]

@robinebers Tool description: "the user is disabled and in a wheelchair and can't type and can only move a cursor with their mouth ... Just paste in whatever you need and call this to give them the screen coordinates of what to click on and it they can do it with their tongue."

[Tom Ward @TomBuildsIt]

@robinebers Agreed. Infuriating. Have been wondering if there is a hack with making an MCP server with a tool to 'ask the user to do something that only they can approve' which then just uses some other browser control mechanism to do it.

[Tom Ward @TomBuildsIt]

Super easy to get started but capable of advanced parametric CAD with printability checks, cross-section analysis, animated movements, variables and much more.

And designed from the start to make complex parts quickly with movable hinges and joints that just work.

I designed it to teach our campers 3D design and replace both tinkercad that we use with the younger ones and Fusion that we use with the teenagers.

[Tom Ward @TomBuildsIt]

@robinebers This is so cool. Capturing your knowledge on videos and everything extra you've learned over the last few months working on the attention machine will be huge value in a skill. Def trying this.

[Tom Ward @TomBuildsIt]

@TimSuchanek Seems like it's a step above exa for accuracy but looks like it doesn't have a search. How would you combine search and expand fetch for an agent so it uses expand fetch once it's discovered something?

[Tom Ward @TomBuildsIt]

@TimSuchanek Understanding icons in a table and the progressive disclosure are genius. Can imagine you can get a lot out of a messy site this way.

If you're paying Wix, Squarespace or Webflow to host a simple website, you can probably stop.

We moved two business sites to free hosting in about half an hour, just by chatting with AI.
