There is huge merit in investing in schools GAA.

In Waterford a previous proposal to create training hubs in Secondary Schools was never delivered on

Most Secondary Schools in Waterford compete in the lower divisions

Amalgamations to allow players play at a higher level would also aid development

Should be considered for both hurling and football

Too elite too young isn't a great idea. If counties rolled development programmes out via school, it brings more players, more clubs on board, with less travel.
