From George Washington in 1777
"Finding the smallpox to be spreading much and fearing that no precaution can prevent it from running through the whole of our army, I have determined that troops shall be inoculated.” Vaccine mandates are not new.
@H2corsO Bravo!!! Everyday, just a little. It can be as little as overcoming procrastination or as big as a mountain. You will be doing a triathlon very soon!
@SteveDrangsholt Actions have consequences Mr. Nunes. Your actions along with others was the equivalent of yelling fire in a crowded theater. That limits any rights you have by endangering others.
So is anyone else questioning how the “premier” legal institutions like Stanford, Yale, Harvard, and others produced people like Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, and many others who seem to lack critical thinking skills or understanding of basic civics? Like screaming fire in a theater?

@greg_wukasch I am in tears as well. My heart is broken. As someone who served our country along with my father and my brother, I never imagined this day seeing our US Capital invaded. I have had the great fortune to have stood on both the House and Senate floors and this is devastating.
Just finished another great book, Dear White America. It’s a great read with some new angles I had not previously thought about. We can’t wish away racism, and no one can do the work for you. Read, listen, and learn. https://t.co/rkAeVfRQ6f
Just finished Troubled Water. Very good read and has me digging into additional information on issues it raises. We need to talk about the issues in our industry, not defensively but inquisitively. And we need to communicate what we know and don’t know with the public.
Don’t miss out on this great opportunity. Especially you engineers! Communicaions is not something us engineers are known for, so like any other skill we must learn about it. The best engineers I have worked with understand the importance of learning about communication.

Watched the movie Harriet Tubman last night. While I knew who she was and what she did to some extent, I did not know how bold and strong she was. Amazing woman and an amazing story!
@Rogue_Water@AdventureH2O Sounds like we need to do an episode from a mountain top discussing why pushing limits helps us grow, helps us learn to fail, and do something with it. Leading from a position of safety limits our potential. Ready to climb?
