Earbud = 5, man =5, watch = 2. Order of Operations in math dictates that multiplication is performed before addition. So the first order of operation is middle character (man + 2 earbuds + watch = 17) multiplied by the third character (watch) = 34. Next Order of Operation is addition, so the first character (single earbud) is added to the prior total: 5+34 = 39. With parentheses the equation would be expressed as 5+(17*2).

The SAVE Act won’t pass the Senate in any form, because no Democrat Senator will vote for Cloture (takes 60 votes - think “filibuster”). It’s the rules of the Senate - a simple majority can’t pass anything (other than as part of a reconciliation bill). Any other bill will never make it to the floor for an up or down vote without 60 votes, which Republicans don’t have.

Its Surprising how many people don't understand the Senate rules. The Senate GOP CAN'T pass the Save Act without democrat support, and no Democrat (well, maybe except for Fetterman) will ever vote for it. Less than 60 yea votes means no Cloture. No Cloture means no up or down (majority) vote on the floor. No vote means no passage.

@ArthurMacwaters Why is it stalled in the Senate? Very simply, no Democrat will vote for it. Without any Democrat votes, Republicans can't get the 60 votes necessary for Cloture. That's not incompetence - a majority of less than 60 in the Senate is not "control of Congress."
