@shilllin Imagine if you use their debit card as your primary payment method. No buying, no selling, no withdrawals, debit cards donโt work. Epic failure.
@Lizbear63@LibertyCappy Referring to someone as having a strength in โtechโ is meaningless โ thatโs not a skill set. Most of his wealth comes from recognizing economic trends long before anyone else.
@hs1marioo If price affects perception then you probably shouldnโt post hns prices at all. Jk
Idk I once had your energy and passion. These days feel like we are miles away.
@hs1marioo It is all about accessibility, right? It ain't easy to get peeps to download chromium yet alone change the settings.
Why focus on the price? I think we are better off focusing on awareness.
@hs1marioo All of which normies and most in crypto do not care about. I'm paying attention.
No point focusing on the coin price until we solve the above.
@0xRalphNFT@TrenchBuddy@aixbt_agent @TrenchBuddysGF @mobyagent Can you point me in the right direction? I have tried twice and both times it said I don't have the minimum holdings. Thanks for any help.
@ChyrychAndrei1@unstoppableweb@HNS Great examples, but the envelope needs to be pushed much much much much much much more.
TikTok users for example are looking at other social media platforms in the interim, not a decentralized web. We would too. Reach will always come before censorship concerns.
It is tiring watching $hns go NOWHERE, fast. Hopefully one day a mainstream browser adopts us, or somone builds out a project that has real world (normie) value. I can't. Yeah, bull run... Only positive is that were aren't pointless vc @unstoppableweb... #hns@hns
@ChyrychAndrei1@unstoppableweb@HNS I'm not saying you are wrong, but there are not enough examples out there to create change. In fact, TikTok is by the far the biggest and I doubt the ban will last. Censorship would need to happen daily for it to matter. A fully decentralized browser would also be necessary.
@ChyrychAndrei1@unstoppableweb@HNS Sure, a decentralized web helps with privacy concerns but if I was to play devil's advocate it also leads to zero accountability...it is a trade off.
I think Handshake must offer something more. In 2025 censorship isn't a big enough concern to most internet users.
Idk if TikTok is an example of extreme censorship, but until we see North Korea levels HNS probably doesnโt solve anything. After all, there is tons of censorship already in China and Russia and we donโt see strong efforts for a dweb in ether country.
I like the idea of a decentralized internet, but as of now all it solves is the price of hefty domain renewals.
