Giving evidence to the inquest, Jonathan Morgan has denied calling Maddy Cusack's girlfriend "Mrs Cusack" in front of the team. The court heard last week that he had done so, but Morgan says it "never happened". The former SUFC manager's evidence session continues all day today.
@TomJGarry 10. Wilson was absolutely spot on with every single recommendation 👏🏼
Football breaking a player due to the lack of all mentioned on this thread at the age of 25 is frightening and it happens all too often.
Well done Nina, came across fantastically and was incredibly brave ❤️
An inquest heard how staff at Sheffield United Women felt under-resourced in 2023. The club's doctor at the time said they were so stretched he had to book a pitch for training, collect “lunch for players from Tesco” and even store medication in his house.

The former Sheffield United goalkeeper Nina Wilson passionately listed a series of recommendations for the sport today, at the inquest into Maddy Cusack's death. Wilson told the court she had left football aged 25 because of her experiences. Here are her suggestions, as a thread:

Maddy Cusack's mother, Deborah, has told the inquest that Jonathan Morgan "humiliated" Maddy by issuing rules for players in relationships. Mrs Cusack asks Morgan: "Who are you to give rules when you yourself had a relationship with a player?"
Morgan will give evidence next week.
