I feel lucky that I was able to hear it played live bya few times. The conductor always makes the first chair trombonist take a bow! It's not for neophytes, but for those who have acquired a taste for this musical language it's extraordinary!

@Sarahsred7 When our band played Salt Lake City in the 1980s we were skeptical if anyone would show up, or if they did, they would kill us freaks, playing loud, anti-everything they likely stood for music.
Surprised, we played at the State Fairgrounds & shitloads of happy people showed up!

@nehringk I hope you're feeling better by now! The week before Christmas I felt lousy, test for COVID - negative. I had the flu! - I received my vaccine two weeks before. A different strain, obviously(?). The flu was horrible - bedridden for 2-3 days, the flu's malaise lasted for a week!

If you buy ticket online for show - & venue's site sends you to @StubHub - choose different option. @stubhub made me jump through MANY hoops to "verify" my tickets. Paying for tickets with my bank card wasn't good enough! Wasted my time! I will NEVER use @stubhub again.
