@SlidersNo1Fan @AJarOfPickles5 I agree with you. I have a lot of respect for Nightmare for reaching 5000 XP with Explo in Arome. That’s an incredible achievement and it deserves recognition. We should all play more X Battles! 🥳

スプラが流行らないのって海外市場が薄くて大会も遠征もないからじゃないかな…。あと北米競技界隈は個人XP関係なく14週続くLUTIとかいう大会でチームごとに強さを振り分けるらしい…それはそれで敷居が高すぎる…🥹
そのせいでアロメには誰もおらず、17で1100位入れてしまうと言う事態…

@SlidersNo1Fan @AJarOfPickles5 I’m also part of the Overfishing Salmon Run community, and it’s much simpler because people are mainly judged by their egg counts. The criteria are basically the same in both the Japanese and Western communities, so there isn’t really a barrier between them other than latency.

あ、あとそうだ、北米のプロモ全般のターゲット層が日本より若い感じするんよな。もうちょっとティーン向けのプロモをしたらいいのになと思う。

@Amorbis2 Hi, I understand, but that’s not really what I mean. I’m talking about why Arome is basically dead compared to Tentatek. Most of the top players moved to Tentatek, and the western competitive scene doesn’t really care about XP.

@oda55jp ドネーション文化とはゲームに対してのドネーションということでしょうか？北米は日本よりドネーションやボランティア文化は大きいと思います。ポケモンも本当に人気でポケカもあちこちで世界大会あるくらいですし、バーで大会も開催されたりします。スプラもポテンシャルはあると思います。

@AJarOfPickles5 I agree with you! The advertisement feels a bit too kiddy for me.
The tournament itself is great, but having it every week doesn’t really work for me. I’m an adult and have other responsibilities and things going on outside of gaming😭

@StarlitSonataSP In the Japanese community, teams are often measured by their average XP, so people tend to play X Battle more frequently. I also think the LUTI division system gives some players less incentive to grind X Battle, since your division placement matters more than your individual XP.
