@BBCPolitics@AlexForsythBBC So is he admitting to wasting all the work, and preparation done, and money spent by the previous Government to send illegal immigrants to Rwanda out of spite just because 'it was a Conservative plan'?
@RashidaTlaib In time of war, in most civilised societies, parents take care to protrect their children, instead of sending them out to play in the hope that they will become 'martyrs'.
@implausibleblog So they apply, get rejected hen head to the boats?
Or are you suggesting that anyone who applies should be ranted the right to come to the UK?
@Notfarriight @SandyofSuffolk They have an option to buy an inner tube, or a cheap lifejacket from their travel arranger before they set sail - for an extra fee.
@SophieLB1@UKLabour Pass a law that all the houses of the senior management of all cladding firms must immediately have them clad with flammable cladding, which must remain in place until all cladding on other buildings is removed?
@BBCBreaking Seven Years! To tell us what we already knew. Don't make, sell, specify and use cladding made from combustible materials on buildings. Anyone doing so is not only stupid but a criminal and should spend a long time in prison. How much money was wasted on this.
@BBCBreakfast The fire was due to wrapping the building in flammable cladding, and breaking the original fire compartmentalisation design.
Go and ask the manufacturer who thought that using flammable plastic insulation in their cladding was a good idea? And why didn't they test it properly?
@BBCPolitics@BBCNews Ignoring people didn't start the fire!
Ignoring people didn't cause the fire to spread!
Wrapping the building in flammable cladding was a disaster waiting to happen!
Only a madman could have thought that manufacturing flammable plastic filled cladding was a good idea!
@jodyleehooker@BBCPolitics I want this to never happen again!
Manufacturers should be held liable for their products, at risk of corporate manslaughter!
It only needed one person to say - Stop this is madness and likely to kill someone! Wrapping a building in flammable plastic?
@rog88keys@BBCr4today@David_Cameron The regulations were there, the product didn't meet them,! The manufacturer originally certified the plastic filled version of cladding without actually testing it, then bodged tests to claim it was safe, but when independently tested it failed dramatically!
@Davidbi14014500@arthur_ascii Only a criminally insane madman could even consider manufacturing flammable building cladding as a cheaper version of the slightly more expensive non-flamable version!
