@Tanni_GT Good Afternoon, is there anything that Welsh Athetics could do to reconsider the selection policy to allow Hannah Brier to be included in the Welsh Team for the Commonwealth Games after her recent 200m times? I think its a dreadful shame that she will miss out! Thankyou

@JaaGee4 @BBCSportWales Thank you but looking at previous games. In 2022 there were 36 runners from 28 countries. 2 Athletes from Maldives finished in over 26 seconds. In 2018, 38 athletes from 21
Countries. There are times that include over 26 seconds. It doesn’t make sense.

@JaaGee4 @BBCSportWales The minimum standard was 23.07. She achieved that. She surpassed the 100 metre standard last Autumn. Who are the other athletes ? She’s the fastest Welsh 100 metre runner ever. So I guess that means NOBODY

How ? The 100 time was well within the qualification period. This is ridiculous. So who has run faster than Hannah ? Nobody. She had to be selected for the 100.
