For years, survivors and campaigners raised concerns about grooming gang safeguarding failures and institutional failings in Bradford. Many people believe those concerns were ignored for too long.

This result is political accountability. The public have spoken. And when the national inquiry examines what happened, those in positions of power, including Susan Hinchcliffe, will be expected to answer serious questions about the failures that took place.
