📢 We are thrilled to announce the arrival of two young cougar cubs to the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens! We are so excited to share more over the next few weeks, and introduce them to guests in the Zoo later this year!
@bonbin7788@CatholicSOTC It’s about being true to tradition—not inventing more elaborate or Protestant ways to worship or believe… The Catholic Church was not broken before Vatican 2. It was wrong to “rupture” the Church.
Let's do the novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus beginning this Wednesday June 3. Our intention is to bring the TLM back to East Tennessee unfettered! One site to reference is https://t.co/E1ad63hCMb
If you need a little ray of sunshine to take your mind off all this rain, just look at sweet Bisky ☀️🦁💛
This little cub knows exactly how to brighten your day.
Meet Bisky 🦁
Zoo Knoxville’s African lion cub officially has a name! Bisky (pronounced bis-key) was named by donors and supporters of Zoo Knoxville, and he’s continuing to grow bigger and stronger every day.
Now weighing around 27 pounds, Bisky can be seen daily between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. in the Valley of the Kings at Zoo Knoxville.
Bisky had to be hand-reared after his mother, Zahra, stopped producing milk when he was just a few weeks old and was no longer receiving the nourishment he needed to survive. Zoo Knoxville’s animal care team made the decision to intervene and begin around-the-clock care to ensure Bisky’s survival and support his development.
Because this was necessary to do at such a young age, his parents, Zahra and Maji, may not fully recognize him as their cub. Staff and several experts believe a full introduction may be too risky while he remains significantly smaller than the adult lions.
To help him continue learning important lion behaviors, Bisky regularly participates in protected “howdy” sessions with his parents, allowing them to see and interact with one another through a safe barrier.
Zoo Knoxville continues consulting with experts from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), the African Lion Species Survival Plan (SSP), and other accredited zoological facilities to help determine the safest options for Bisky at this stage of development.
Every decision regarding Bisky’s care is made with his long-term well-being in mind, and we’re thrilled with the progress he continues to make.
Come say hello to Bisky during your next visit to Zoo Knoxville!
The fact that there are bishops advocating the acceptance of sodomy
and the majority of bishops and priests say absolutely nothing
The fact that bishops are advocating the acceptance of sodomy
exposes the depth of corruption and cowardice among the hierarchy
@savetheTLM Many of us will be praying the Rosary Monday May 25th at 11:00 at the chancery. It is Memorial Day and some will have plans… but if you can join us to pray for the bishop and the TLM that would be great. Spread the word!
Mayor of Charlotte, NC asks that we not post about this lady murdered on a Charlotte train by a repeat offender with 14 prior arrests
I say in Iryna’s memory please share and make this go viral! A repeat offender with 14 prior arrests should not be roaming the streets of ANY city! They should be locked up!! Epic failure in the justice system..
We will never forgot her ever
Pope Leo will speak with adamant schismatics
but won't speak with the faithful Catholics of the @SSPX who want to uphold the Catholic Faith and sacraments
Bishop Strickland: "We must support the Petrine Office because Christ established it. But supporting the papacy does not mean pretending that error is truth."
