@nottttaburner92 People saying it’s a part of your medical record. If you identify as a man then that’s a part of your medical record. There are sections where you place patient’s self-identified pronouns. If you trust them, it was probably a mistake and you should let them know
@nottttaburner92 The medical records excuse only works with diagnoses. You usually have to have a diagnosis to get insurance coverage so they might have to bill under a diagnosis you might not identify with. Reference: I’m a doctor in training who just finished behavioral health rotation :P
@Pmesa23_ Older doctors will call you incompetent and lazy for pushing back. I told an attending that I didn’t want to come in any earlier than I had to and he looked disgusted
@Pinkiescent_ Controversial maybe but I’m bi because I like a certain set of masculine features and a separate set of feminine features. So like not specifically liking two different genders but liking 2 different gender expressions. But also there are a lot of exceptions
