The upcoming Server Browser for #Battlefield6 Season 5 will address 'pain points' players have experienced with Server Browsers in previous titles, says Battlefield Studios.

"We're planning for official servers to be easy to identify, support full progression, and remain supported by regular matchmaking so active matches can continue to be backfilled. We're also working toward a more persistent match flow where possible, with the goal of keeping more players together across matches while still respecting individual matchmaking choices."

Tsuru Reef

🔹 The map is set across a wide oceanfront combat space, bringing together island terrain, beach assaults, open water, and areas designed for infantry pressure.
🔹 Players can expect a mix of vehicle combat and on-foot engagements, with room for boats, aircraft, armor, and squads pushing across key points of control.
🔹 It's larger than Railway to Golmud.
🔹 Tsuru Reef will be available in Battlefield Labs this month, launching in Battlefield 6 multiplayer in July.

Wake Island

🔹 One of Battlefield's most recognizable locations.
🔹 For its return, Battlefield Studios is updating the map for the scale, systems, and modern setting of Battlefield 6 while preserving the identity that has made it a fan-favorite across the series.
🔹 Carrier-based headquarters help frame the fight from both sides of the island, while additional changes to the combat space support naval engagements around the map.
🔹 The reimagined version of Wake Island will come later in Season 4.

Battlefield Studios says the original layout from #Battlefield3's Grand Bazaar is still there in "spirit and feeling," but they've improved gameplay and overhauling the visual design in the reimagined version of #Battlefield6.

🔹 Cairo Bazaar supports both small and large scale mode experiences.
🔹 They've refined the TDM area from the original map, with Domination being added to the same combat zone.
🔹 The amount of destruction has been dramatically increased. Players will have the agency to widen choke-points and side-step them entirely by breaking down the destructible environments.
🔹 Cairo Bazaar features blow open shortcuts that were not present in Battlefield 3's map version.
🔹 They've added additional cover pieces, especially in Plaza and Checkpoint areas.
🔹 In order to avoid a potential bottleneck at faction's headquarters, Cairo Bazaar has added additional alleyways and overhead cover to the original one-way streets.
🔹 The Marketplace with the infamous "big banana" lane still in-tact. It's set among the archways of an indoor bazaar instead of an outdoor alleyway. It also shows clear signs of a hurried evacuation during the recent conflict, with details that reflect its abrupt abandonment.
🔹 The Boulevard area now features a few buildings and a massive destructible archway to give players a bit more to fight around and give IFVs something to take cover behind. Since Cairo Bazaar takes place in the wake of a sudden evacuation, you'll find some vehicles abandoned mid-journey in this area.
🔹 Plaza and Checkpoint have been hit hardest by the conflict with buildings reduced to near-total ruin. Vehicles can still barrel up-and-down the lane with ease, but new cover pieces make these areas more conducive for infantry squad battles compared to the Boulevard.
🔹 In the Plaza, the hotel still burns in the aftermath of the recent attacks.
