@prosandhans @raasch_bg Yes. We will nominate men on/from convention floor next week Tuesday (6/23/26). Seems a very “sudden” way to consider your synod’s next president but it does avoid all that “Vote for ________.” Delegates will be allowed to speak from the mic saying “I support _______ because…"

He never asks, tells, commands, or coerces us to do anything that is sinful, even contrary to our best interests. But yes, too often husbands invoke the “submission” concept and it’s always rooted in selfishness.

@1BethDutton I was reading the funnies (comics in the Sunday paper). A big bang on the living room window, Dad thought a crow must have flown into it. He sent me out to look in the bushes and we saw all the neighbors outside looking at their own windows. News broke about five minutes later.
