Gonna post this here and cross my fingers. I lost a Ford key fob while walking around Quidi Vidi this morning. Please let me know if anyone picks it up. Thanks.

The area of Three Island Pond in Paradise is now being evacuated. Per an emergency alert just issued.

@EddieSheerr To still get alerts when and do not disturb for Androids:

FYI @townofparadise. This issue hasn't been resolved yet and it's been over a year. How are the students expected to use the crosswalk to get to @paradiseelem with a defective crosswalk button

@thomas_leyden @BikeMan @SunnyDfan4eva @sheltonkdaniel @CCPISASSH0E Not really apples and oranges my friend. Statistics about the probability of you dying via a particular means. Very apples to apples. All the best and safe travels via whatever means you choose!

[Tony Woolridge @TonyRWoolridge]

@BikeMan @SunnyDfan4eva @thomas_leyden @sheltonkdaniel @CCPISASSH0E A Harvard University study noted that flying is significantly safer than driving a car. The odds of being in an aircraft accident are 1 in 1.2 million, and the chance of that crash being fatal is 1 in 11 million. Comparatively, your chances of dying in a car crash are 1 in 5,000

@Diana_m_white Reminds me of playing at St. Bon's 🤣

[Tony Woolridge @TonyRWoolridge]

@jim_boob @PeterCBC Another factor is that pilots must be trained in the use of the system. My understanding is that not all are and therefore use of the system is not as frequent as it could be.

⚠️MISSING CHILD UPDATE⚠️
Thanks to a member of the general public who called in with a location for the missing young girl. She is now home safe and sound. #nltraffic

@showpassevents Further, there has been a well circulated workaround on FB for your website which allowed users to jump the queue for this sale. Many users had icons which did not move during the sale, myself included, while others completed multiple transactions. Good for them. Bad design.

@showpassevents What's the deal with charging full price to be WAITLISTED for Churchill Park Music Fest tickets? Sitting on/using people's money for how long before you tell them there are no tickets!?! #sketchy #ShaniaTwain

[Tony Woolridge @TonyRWoolridge]

@showpassevents Thank you for your response but joining a waitlist which requires credit card authorization, when the tickets sell out, and supposedly receive them immediately? Why weren't those tickets available initially? Never seen that before and it STILL seems sketchy.

Pretty cool and rare sight at YYT this afternoon. #airbusbeluga

@townofparadise Thank you to all Town staff managing operations, particularly snow clearing crews, given the very challenging conditions. And thank you for the communication of status, much appreciated!

[Tony Woolridge @TonyRWoolridge]

@townofparadise @DanBobbett Paradise snow clearing in 2024 has been the worst in my 19 years of living in the town. Little to no street widening. Minimal plow operations compared to previous years. Absolutely brutal. Please do better or at least communicate the challenges.

A good friend of mine lost her wallet on the way home to see her dad. Between the airport and orange store in town. Anyone?
