@BreakfastBullit@Magpul It's the in a rifle caliber that makes it kind of a bitch because the more you actually look at the proportion of that thing The worse it gets I was trying to fit it to the original concept form factor which had a lot shorter length of pull and made it a lot worse
@ZAN_KAN Girsan's website says 5.38 in (138mm) but it is important to note that the black part on the end of the slide is a compensator that replaces the barrel bushing so the barrel is shorter than it appears
@T0astInABox The last time I had to put that fucker back in was on my lap on a clutch at 2 in the morning next to two other people honestly one of the most humiliating experiences of my life
@T0astInABox Did you ever manage to get that leaf spring in the fire control area out on all two I've taken apart it gave me enough resistance I didn't feel like messing with it
@ZAN_KAN The officers (most of the time, it depends who made it) have shorter grips and the magazines (in 45 acp) start at 6 rounds instead of 7 rounds, unlike how the commander and government have similar frame dimensions, the officer has a fair amount of differences
@ZAN_KAN A lot of people have made alot of weird 1911 variants. That size is generally called the "officer" size. if you ever have any 1911 questions im happy to answer them
