I was having a conversation about mental health in Africa with a couple of friends on Discord. I didn't have much to add from an expert perspective, but it reminded me of past experiences where I had to make extreme adjustments just to avoid mentioning the m word itself.
The point is how we frame the issue is as important as the issue itself. For every 5 people who admit to mental health issues, there are probably 15 more who would never acknowledge it.
