Had a very productive discussion with Anne Thomas @ABUHB audiology this week. As a result, all care homes in Torfaen now know how, and when, to refer housebound residents for community audiology. Love a good outcome @RNID @cherylwilson2 @fleaflylaidler @JudithPagetCEO

Carried out a falls assessment on a care home resident with dementia. Quickly established that she couldn’t hear me. Put my own aid up to her ear and she was able to answer most of my questions. @RNID @AneurinBevanUHB @talkolderpeople @JudithPagetCEO

I’ve had over two thousand pounds worth of kit supplied to me to make my nhs hearing aids Bluetooth compatible with a special pen to direct towards conversation.
