The model has been backtested on the past 1 month of baseball games and has shown a 58% accuracy. This model has now been tested to beat the books.

Back after another hiatus. My model has now been better updated and trained with a new predicted variable. Originally the model was predicting how many nrfi's the pitcher would throw considering how many games he has started.

This proved to be a terrible way to measure the future expected probability of a nrfi. Now the model was trained on binary nrfi/yrfi outcomes relating to their last performance. Then predicting the probability of a future nrfi based on a whole host of pitching stats.
